Our Commitment to Quality and Respect for Time
At Personal Chef Kegon, we are dedicated to providing you with exceptional culinary experiences for your brunches, dinners, and special events. To ensure the highest quality of food and service, we have established the following guidelines regarding scheduling and time commitments.
Respecting Our Time
As your personal chef, time management is crucial for preparing and delivering a flawless meal. We kindly request that you respect our time by:
Being Punctual for Consultations and Appointments: When we schedule a consultation or any preparatory meetings, please make every effort to be on time. This allows us to dedicate our full attention to your needs and plan effectively.
Honoring Agreed-Upon Start Times: Ensuring Culinary Excellence
For your scheduled brunch, dinner, or event, the agreed-upon start time is critical to the quality of the food we prepare. Here's why it's essential to honor this time:
Optimal Food Quality: Many dishes are carefully timed to be served at their peak temperature and texture. Delays in the start time can lead to food being overcooked, becoming cold, or otherwise compromising its intended quality and flavor.
Maintaining Our Preparation Schedule: Our culinary team meticulously plans the cooking process to ensure all components of your meal are ready simultaneously. Significant delays can disrupt this carefully orchestrated schedule, potentially affecting the overall dining experience.
Preventing Food Safety Concerns: Holding certain foods for extended periods outside of their optimal temperature range can pose food safety risks. Adhering to the agreed-upon start time helps us maintain the highest standards of food safety for you and your guests.
Important Note Regarding Start Times:
We kindly request that you and your guests be ready to begin service at the agreed-upon time. Waiting for 30 minutes or more beyond the scheduled start time is not ideal and can negatively impact the quality of the meal we are able to provide. While we understand that minor delays can occasionally occur, we ask for your best efforts to adhere to the agreed-upon schedule to ensure an optimal culinary experience.
Communication Regarding Delays:
It is crucial to communicate any potential delays in your readiness before the scheduled start time and before we begin cooking. Waiting until the food is plated to inform us of a delay is not acceptable and will still affect the quality of the prepared food. Please contact us as soon as possible if you anticipate needing more time than originally planned.
Deposit and Payment Policy:
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure and hold your event date with Personal Chef Kegon. The remaining balance for your services is due no later than three (3) days prior to your scheduled event date.
Cancellation Policy:
The $200 deposit is non-refundable. If the full balance has been paid and the client cancels two (2) days prior to the scheduled event, 50% of the total balance paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be refunded.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our scheduling, payment, and cancellation policies. These policies allow Personal Chef Kegon to maintain our commitment to quality and provide reliable service to all our clients. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
